Martina Liana 2014 Bridal Collection

The new Martina Liana 2014 Bridal Collection is sophisticated and absolutely gorgeous. The bridal gowns are classic silhouettes with rhinestone beading, timeless lace, gorgeous flowing skirts, elegant shoulder styling, and hand beaded Diamante crystals on the bodice. We are in love with the subtle blush colored gown and the cascading blush skirt is to die for. This collection is stunning.

For the bride who radiates confidence, global glamour and impeccable style, there’s Martina Liana — the embodiment of exquisite couture bridal design.
Inspired by Martine Harris and Leanne Collova, the Martina Liana wedding gown collection has risen from the celebrated minds of these Australian designers to the heights of the world stage as a major international bridal fashion label.
Every cut, every embellishment, every consideration of a Martina Liana design is made with one idea in mind.
“A bridal gown is more than just something a bride will wear once. She will replay the memories of her day in her mind for years to come and pictures of her will be passed down for generations. A bride’s love story inspires us and this is why Leanne and I love creating magical and unforgettable gowns,” said Harris.
This passion to create an enduring memory is exemplified in the couture craftsmanship of every Martina Liana gown.
You can see it in the way the luxurious fabrics flow as a bride glides down the aisle. In the handcrafted fit, that accentuates a womanly form. And in the heirloom quality detailing that will leave every guest in awe – and stir the heart of a husband-to-be.
“Leanne and I had a vision to create a bridal fashion label that blended couture customization and quality with exquisite design.  We are proud that this vision has been brought to life through Martina Liana.  Each new collection is even more captivating than the last and we feel validated by the amazing response this label has received from brides across the world.”
When you select a Martina Liana creation, you wear something far more than just a wedding dress. You make a statement. One that exemplifies the style, the attitude and the elegance of the bride, and the woman, you are.

Sophia Tolli: 2013 Fall Collection

WeddingBlvd cannot get enough of wedding gown inspiration. From look books and Pinterest to designer websites and runway shows, there are so many pretty details to appreciate. We’re loving Sophia Tolli’s Sophia Tolli’s 2013 fall collection: the 21 gowns are so refined and luxurious, all while being different from the others.

“My collection has two distinct feelings: soft romanticism and traditional bridal drama,” says Tolli. “My signature style will always be gowns with an exceptional fit and cut.”
The stylish gowns are “both classic and couture designs,” such as A-line dresses, halters and slim skirts as well as strapless ball gowns. Tolli’s signature gowns feature draping and corset backs, which gives brides a perfect fit.
The majority of the fall 2013 gowns feature strapless gowns while a few others are tank style. These body-hugging styles show off a bride’s form. Some gowns like Marigold (a taffeta ball gown) and Peony (an A-line style) and Juniper (an organza mermaid style) are fitted in the waist and have sleek, yet flowing skirts.
One show-stopper to see: the Poppy gown which is an A-line dress featuring lace appliqués as well as a scooped strapless neckline. It also has hand beading and diamond tulle, as well as a dropped waist bodice with a full skirt. The finishing touch? A corset back closure and removable straps!
Another must-see gown is known as the Endine. This style showcases a slim A-line in angel chiffon. It has a strapless sweetheart neckline, which is trimmed with crystal hand-beaded tulle. There’s a waterfall skirt and a bodice, which is “asymmetrically draped.” The gown also closes with a corset back closure.
We adore the Lilac taffeta mermaid gown, which has a draped bodice and a hand-beaded and embroidered neckline. This style is so stunning and sleek!
No wonder Tolli’s designs are so impressive. The designer’s seamstress story started in her early teens when she was influenced by her talented aunt dressmaker who handmade most of the teen’s clothes. By making custom prom, bridesmaid’s dresses and bridal gowns as a teen, Tolli solidified her “made-to-measure” fashion experience.
