Three Wedding Food Trends

Custom Cuisine: Many couples these days are interested in offering something personalized, in terms of food choice, and are not afraid to stray from traditional “safe” menu options. They want to wow their guests with the unusual and the exotic!

Dietary Accommodation: If you have special dietary needs or food allergies, speak up! Your caterer may be able to accommodate those needs for you or your guests. We are seeing a rise in requests for gluten-free reception menus, as well as vegetarian and vegan catering, among others.

Sweet Stuff: Not into wedding cake? No problem! We are seeing a rise in wedding dessert buffets, including a variety of cookies, cupcakes, chocolates, macaroons, pies, shooters, cake pops and even savory desserts like flavored popcorn. If you still want your cake cutting moment, simply have a small, one-tier cake made for your photo op!
